Jenny Lee Lindberg of Warpaint has announced her solo debut as jennylee, after giving hints to fans with studio photos via social media. Her debut right on! is due for release on Friday 11th December.
To coincide with the announcement of her solo work, jennylee has shared an album teaser trailer with tracks from the forthcoming record. Joining Lindeberg on the album are a set of great performers including Norm Black (Plexi, Mark Lanegan), Dan Elkan (Them Hills, Broken Bells) and Warpaint’s own Stella Mozgawa.
While right on! will most likely retain some of Lindeberg’s signature Warpaint style, there are promises of New Wave and Goth elements being integrated in her new solo work.
