Marking their ten-year anniversary as a band with the release of their fifth studio album Nosebleed Weekend, Atlanta Trio The Coathangers have debuted the title track of 2014’s Suck My Shirt follow up.

With humble beginnings as an excuse to host parties and play to mates, “I think all bands in their early twenties start for fun,” says guitarist/vocalist Julia Kugel, The Coathangers latest release has seen them mature into the kind of tight-knit dynamism you would expect from a band with a decade of solid playing and touring behind them. Single ‘Nosebleed Weekend’ testifies to this, chewing over the inevitable karma of going “cruisin’ for a bruisin'” with that same insouciant appeal and serrated instrumentation of their earlier tracks, coupled with a definite manifestation of expertise and chemistry that would come from working together for a period longer than the years you suffered through high school.

The Coathangers new album Nosebleed Weekend comes out April 15th.
